Fox's Egg Hunt

We had an empty egg hunt for Fox the weekend of Easter. It was empty because Mary did not fill any of the eggs. Fox enjoyed hunting for them more than anything! The hunt was at Mary's mom's condo complex - even though she was out of town. We had the hunt as the sun was setting and the pictures did not come out as well as we had hoped.

We asked Jason to help out again this year. All he did was tell Mary where to hide more eggs.

Fox found a "Penguins of Madagascar" dvd. He thinks the penguins are super funny.

He also recieved a Playdough Set from the Easter Bunny as his Easter Gift.

Bowling Night

Last week, we went bowling with Jason, John, and Jenn! It was super fun. The lanes we went to had automatic gutter bumpers that came up for individual players - so you did not have to play on a lane that constantly had bumpers if you did not want them.

Fox was pleased to knock pins down!

While we waited for a lane, Mary, Fox, and Jenn walked to the ice cream shop on the corner. Double scoops might have been a bit greedy but it was so very yummy and worth it!

To kick off the night, we started with dinner at San Tan Brewery in Chandler. Delicious food if you are not into beer as well! This is what Fox thought of San Tan:

Dining Out

Last week, we went to eat at Chompies and walked off the meal at the mall. We rarely eat out (mostly due to the fact it adds up in price and also eating with children is always a patience tester!); so it felt like a special little treat.

Fox is also in love with tea sets...and birthday cakes.

Another Haircut

Mary took Fox for a haircut before we all went on vacation. Fox likes going to "cool cuts for kids" because they have little tvs and a red car for him to sit in. Mary does not like to pay twenty bucks for a haircut though. Needless to say, the job is done well in a quick and efficient manner.

After the haircut, Fox and Mary went to visit the cats available for adoption. No, we are not adopting. Fox likes to play with the cats though.

Fox's First Theatre Movie

Last weekend, we took Fox to his first movie - Hop. The movie was an hour and a half long and about three-quarters of the way in, he was bored. There was not enough popcorn or blue Icees to keep his attention span.

We had free movie passes and did not have to spend any money on admission - other than concession stand items. Yay!

We arrive home and someone was tuckered out.
