James and the Uhaul

To no surprise of our loyal readers, we have officially moved. Here is James with our 17foot Uhaul that we had rented.
We live in a little red house on the corner that has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a den, living room, dining room, and kitchen. We also have a carport (yay, we can now change our own oil!) and three outside storage closets! There is a little fenced in yard but a huge commonly shared grassy backyard that Fox loves loves LOVES to run in. We live fourty seconds from the playground. Yes folks, Mary timed it.

Have a look at the messy photos:
This is our dining room area. The kitchen is sort of see-able around all the boxes.

This built in counter space is in the kitchen too!
This is James and Mary's room. Both of the closets were claimed as Mary's.

This one is the other bedrooms that we use a computer/office/study. It has two windows - one that faces south and the other west.

This is Fox's bedroom. He likes to play "monsters" with the closet doors.
Here is the den. It's right off the carport and the laundry area is right in the doors behind the clutter.

So this is us. Nothing else to report. adios!

Hard at Work

While James and Mary box up the condo, "DJ F Triple X" was hard at work on his master beats.

James came up with the clever DJ name. Mary's idea was DJ Foxx (double "x") but James said it would be even better with three "x's" (triple x) and to drop the "o" all together. Hence, "DJ F Triple X".

Here are some other random snapped up shots of Fox:

He still likes to play in the boxes and wash his hands.

Last week, Mary took her mom to the airport so she could go back East for a vacation to visit "Uncle Ray" (as Fox calls him).

Fox liked to watch the airplanes land and take off while we were there. His favorite plane was Southwest because of their orange and purple colored planes. Also, check out Fox's stroller. Mary's mom snagged that Maclaren Volo for a mere $10.oo at a yard sale. Sweet ride, Mr. Fox, you're in the Cadillac of strollers!

Fox's Hallie Mo Cake

Mary's mom brought a "special treat" over for Fox to celebrate the Fourth of July festivities before we made our way to Prescott. Needless to say, Fox got it literally all over him.

Fox looked at himself in the mirror after eating the chocolate cupcake and said "I eat Hallie Mo cake!" Hallie Mo is Mary's mom's cat. Apparently, he thought he looked like a cat!

Our chiropractor had a new toy and Fox wanted to be the first to use it.

Here are a few more photos from the Fourth when we also went up to Jerome:

Fox wanted to stand next to some old mining equipment.

Finally, Fox in a box!

We're packing up for the move and Fox is taking full advantage of all the boxes we have lying around. In the background, it's the World Cup game of Spain and Netherlands. We were rooting for the Dutch but Spain took the win!

Also, our digital camera finally went ka-put last week. It's done and o-v-e-and-r! We'd shop around for a new one but do not want to spend the money on a new one just yet. Looks like we will have to make do with the one Mary's mom is letting us borrow. After four years of wonderful service, we release it to the land of happy cameras in the sky!

So this is us. nothing else to report. adios!

The Fourth

For the Fourth of July, we went up to Prescott and Prescott Valley to get out of the hot hot heat of the Valley. They had an Arts and Crafts Fair at the Courthouse and Fox had lots of room to run around.

Our friend, Jenn, came along too.

Later that night, we went to Prescott Valley to watch the fireworks from their new astroturf fields.

Fox was wearing a button up shirt with red, white and blue flags. This shirt used to be James'! It was easy to spot him throughout the day because of his unique shirt.

The next morning, we drove to Jerome and this is what Fox did:

James and Mary pulled out at a scenic view. Some of us aren't too photogenic, eh?

Welcome to Jerome! Jerome isn't really a ghost town and has become a hub for liberal thinkers and artists. There were quite a few wine cellars too! Jerome used to be a mining town but when the railroad completed their track past/through Clarkdale, Jerome was bypassed and forgotten about.

Fox liked the "firetruck house" the best. Fox and James rested at the foot of some stairs. They also had a tasty treat!

As usual, Fox wandered a lot. Mary found a vintage shop and found some shoes. (surprise, surprise?!)

We ate at the "Haunted Hamburger" for lunch and Fox found a bug on the window. They became fast friends!

Can you see the bug? James and Mary debated if it was a Grasshopper or a Mantis.

So this is us. nothing else to report. adios!
