Excuse the poor picture quality - we are waiting for our camera to go completely ka-put before making an investment in a new one. (Mary is secretly campaigning for a Nikon.) Also, Mary was too lazy to make any edits to the photo prior to posting. What you see is what you get!
We went around town prior to the wedding to poke in and out of various shops. Mary "had" to get her photo in front of the "crystal vortex" in honor of her MTV telly show "The Hills". Those who watch the show will understand.
We found a homemade ice cream shop (hence the "summer bucket list" in the previous post) and James "fed" it to the pink javelina. By the way, we almost hit one a little after midnight when we were driving back to the hotel from the wedding. It was easily 100lbs (yes, more than Mary) and would have left the Jetta dead on the side of the road.
James the model. He really is tall though.
Mary and one of her oldest friends from elementary school. She calls him "the Tank".
Thank you to James' mom for lending the string of Pearls and silver broach as essential accessories to complete the outfit!
Never mind it being a "vintage" item (because apparently Mary's "old"). Fox LOVES it. It was in fantastic condition and missing only the door on the back/front. Doesn't matter anyways, Fox would have ripped the door out somehow.
Tuesdays are usually Library Days here in our home. Fox always likes to look at the fountain when we go and see the coins. He loves money. Imagine if he ran into a leprechaun...uh oh, the pot of gold would be up for grabs then.
Fox found a lawn chair and laid down after some seriously hard "shopping" at the grocery store. Remember the previous post a while back about Fox being a serious shopper?
James' nephew was awarded his Arrow of Light in Cub Scouts last week. James' older sister made these fantastic cookies:
Fox and James ate cake afterwards outside.
James snagged a photo of Mary and Fox as the sun was setting. Check it out, Mary has her first Knot on her shirt! yay!
So last week looked awfully busy and reflecting back, it was! Potty training for Fox is coming along fine. The progress is showing and Fox reaps the rewards of M&Ms daily! Spring semester is over for James - yay!
By the way, yesterday was James and Mary's seven year anniversary. What old foggies they are.
Enjoy this video of Fox from a few weeks ago at the table. It's all fun and games until someone make a mess. gah!
