Just for our Loyal Followers

We have no idea how many people read our blog, but this post is just for you!!!

We've made it back from Laos - in one piece believe it or not. It was a LONG flight there and an even LONGER flight back - especially with a super baby named Fox who loves to play the game of "mommy, guess if I'm going to wear a halo or horns on this leg of our flight!". hahaha! Halos or horns.

So, this would explain while we did not do our weekly blog updates! Keep tuned for the coming weeks of photos from our trip.

In the meantime to fill up space on this post, Mary won last month's photo contest for a submission she had! woohoo! They keyword was "Sword of Damocles".

This photo was snapped at the zoo on a very hot day many many moons before Fox was born. In fact, our friends Justin and Emily were with us at the zoo too!!! This is the conversation that took place between Mary and James. {mary} Dude, that camel is SO dead. {james} Mary, you're crazy. No it's not. {m} Yes, it is! Look at it!!! It's tounge is hanging out! d-e-a-d. dead! {j} If the camel was dead, they wouldn't leave it in the exhibit for everyone to see!

Then to the sadness of Team Mary, Team James was 100% right. After zooming in on the camera, the camel was not dead. The camel was so tired he just decieded to take a siesta right there in the middle of the exhibit in the hot hot summer heat.

We're recovering from jet lag. We're catching up on tv shows we missed. We miss our hamburgers and pizza! We think it's absolute madness to take your kid on 20+ hours of flying (NOT including layovers!). Shall we mention it's ONE WAY the 20+ hours of flying?! Mary needs to get ready for Scout day camp. James wants to get caught up on movies that released while we were gone.

So this is us. Nothing else to report. adios!

I have absolutely no idea how I would even begin to prepare for a 20+ hour flight nevertheless how I would live through it. Nice job guys! Good luck on the catching up!
