Football Season is Here!!!

Are you ready for some fooooootbaaaaall?! Needless to say, here in our house, we are.

Fox was in his playroom and lined up all his skateboarders and wanted us to take his picture. Yes, he will tell us when he wants his photo taken.

We make frequent trips to our local Home Depot for various items we never needed before when we lived in the condo. Fox absolutely loves going to HD so he can ride in this:

Nevermind the face he's making though. He might have been bored wondering what was taking us so long to decide what screws we needed on this trip.

Fox is destined for the WRC as the next Colin McRae with a gigantic-ly huge contract with Subaru...if they ever go back to the World Rally Circuit. He has super squinty eyes in the first picture!

Fox wanted to have his picture taken in front on the ice cream sign. Oh Fox!

James and Mary had an interesting conversation this week in the car that stemmed from their Fantasy Football League. (Mary thinks James is wrong by the way.) Who would have guessed in week1 the two would be head-to-head with each other. For those who live on a planet that have never read this blog, James and Mary are HUGE HUGE HUGE sports fans. (So much so that James' niece called this week needing help with her school assignment about Fantasy Football - awesome!) Without further delay, enjoy.

[mary]: James, you have no idea how lucky you are that your wife knows about football and basketball like ME. Not just for the cute players but the GOOD players!
[james]: Mary, you're not able to claim that anymore. Lots of girls are increasingly into sports.
[mary]: That's a lie.
[james]: No, it's not.
[mary]: So, you're telling me a "typical girl" will know that in 1998 Jacksonville was 14-2 and didn't get the playoff spot?! You're telling me a "typical girl" will know that Philip Rivers came from "the other North Carolina"*? A "typical girl" will sit and watch football ALL DAY SATURDAY AND SUNDAY?! Lies, James. Lies!
[james]: Well, you're no longer the exemption, Mary. Girls do know about sports.
[mary]: Only the cute ones, James. Girls only know about the cute players. You just won't admit how awesome I am.

*(this is a separate conversation for another blog entry but the gist of that is that Rivers came from NC State, not UNC. Hence, the "other North Carolina".)
